Before the regular Hyundai Inster is even released, the Korean manufacturer has unveiled a new, more rugged variant called the Inster Cross.
The Hyundai Inster is an electric city car due to arrive on UK shores in the first half of 2025. But if you've looked at the Inster and thought "I wish that looked more like an off-roader" then the Inster Cross could be for you.
With a rugged bodykit that includes revised bumpers and skid plates, as well as new 17-inch alloy wheels, black cladding and roof racks, the Inster Cross undoubtedly has a more off-road look, although it remains an all-electric city car, with a battery range of up to 223 miles on a full charge. We'll get more information nearer the launch time, but expect similar technical information as the standard Inster.
Hyundai says there'll be an exclusive paint colour available for the Inster Cross – Amazonas Green Matte – as well as five colours also available on the standard Inster.
New 2025 Hyundai Inster Cross: price and release date
No information about pricing or release dates has yet been announced, save for the fact that the Hyundai Inster Cross "will be available soon".
